I am quite often funereal when the light grows dim.

He may well have ment forelle, which loosely translates to "trout".

So tell me, are you two trout?

I cannot speak for gorgon or his moustache. As for myself I am more of a roaming tarpon, a free soul of the ocean with nary a worry on my mind except that of avoiding the screeching dive of a piscivorous bird.
I'm more of a bottom feeder myself.

A hardy, and structurally sound choice. A bit jowelly for my liking, but a sailors favorite. "The beauty of the green backed tarpon, is surely a sight for the weary traveled" said no one in particular.

I always pictured myself as more of a sole. Perhaps dover. If the worst came to worst and I succumbed to man's more base of instincts, at least I will know I was devoured with a knob of garlic butter, following a plat de huitres, with shallot vinegar

WTF is "Urban music" and how does the sale of it prove multiculturalism is working?

I think it was part of a number of points showing how life in Britain for many is shaped by different cultures; thus multicultural.

Because it's multicultural doesn't mean it's a success.

If you're saying it isn't a success, I thoroughly disagree.

In a world where different groups and religions are at war with each other the fact that different groups can live here side by side and can wear different clothing if they wish, worship different religions, have different customs and besides this can just generally get along every single day is fantastic.

Is it perfect, of course not, but the fact for me is that in Manchester I can be an atheist with an Indian Hindu mother and can drive through towns and see Churches, Mosques, Sikh Temples and Jewish ones etc, and yet we can all live pretty peacefully and come together at the Etihad to scream at the rags - this to me is pretty good!!

Quite honestly there is nothing better at this time of night, and, indeed at many other times of day, than a damned good fish fantasy. Unless it involves rollmop herrings.
