Wordle

If anyone is colour blind like me go to settings and select enhanced view I think it is and correct letters in wrong place are blue

AGREED!!! I missed one the other day because the first letter could have been any one of SIX letters!! Turned it into a complete guessing game!!

Note to self, next time similar happens, start at Z and work backwards!!!

When this happens you should use your spare guesses (If you've got any) to input a word which uses as many of the possible letters as possible, that way you can work out what goes in the final spot.

Great idea!

Unfortunately, though, they’re often all consonants, so you can only manage 2, maybe 3 at the absolute outside.

Conversely, for a word puzzle game, just pick a word that does not have 6 different variations, knowing that most people are closing on the answer in 3 or 4 attempts! ;-)

I think the answer was “Watch,” hence my “start at Z next time!”

I suppose I could have done CLAMP to eliminate 4 at once on this occasion!

I would’ve thought this was pretty obvious but I guess not to a lot of players. I always do this and I’ve never failed at Wordle
