What are you doing for yours?

Ours is tomorrow. It's free food, free beer and wine, music, entertainment and a few "surprises" apparently. We're having it in a rental hall at a Hotel Complex and I intend to enjoy myself on works money for the first time in a year. We're not the most sociable organisation as each one of our Titles work independently of eachother (we're a Publisher) so I suspect they make it free food and drink to ensure people go.

The surprise is probably half the work force is being made redundant

We had an Irish Street Dancing duo who were OK and a live band. Someone also went dressed as Jimmy Savile as the theme was School Days. Not even I'd stoop that low.

Ours was originally going to be fancy dress and because savile and glitter had already been spoken for, I was going to go as a catholic priest with no trousers on under my cassock. Too many people backed out though for fear of causing offence to all the other revellers.

Ours is tonight, at The Etihad, in the Citizens suite, a mistletoe and wine themed evening all expenses paid !!

Mines on Sunday, 5 course meal at 'the swamp', free drinks and they have a few shows on and bumper cars apparently. The latter combined with beer does not seem like a good combination, but I have a feeling they will be combined.

I did exactly the same for mine last week! The free drink is a bottle of cheap champagne!! And you have to pay extra for the bumper cars, casino and whatever else there is on!!

It was ok, lots of talent there!!

Yeah we did it last night, good little laugh, I can confirm there was 'talent' in abundance!
