As you look at the stand face on, the one far right (next to the score board) is owned by the club. Its where the people not playing go and watch the game, youth players and families. Dont know about the others but have heard the ones with blue neon are owned by the club or players. I know Tevez has one so..... Maybe to make them unique?

to be honest I think it would look shit only having a couple done. the ones that have been done look class so it should go right the way round!

Also, does anyone know why the boxes in the south stand have the blinds pulled down when the match is on, but the ones in the north stand dont?

Stan Collymore's box?

They looked pretty funky. Game the place a bit of a space ship feel. Are they just neon lights outside the box?

Trigger maybe able to confirm this but I believe its something to do with Licensing laws but dont know the exact details. Maybe you can get a drink during the match in one but not the other and as you aren't supposed to stand watching the match with a pint in your hand the blinds are closed ? (I know that its a rule thats been let slide in the boxes)

At the clubs expense? "sorry mister you cant use your box were upgrading it for free" wouldnt happen, at £35k per season for a 12 seater City wont be fitting it out for nothing. They come empty and it's up to the owner to put in the furnishings etc. City provide a signed shirt and the staff.

I enquired about a box for this season and the prices are ok for a business .. 8 or 10 people .. £24k - £46k .. depending on what you want .. but there not being done up .. you have to pay to the upgrade .. another £3k and you get fancy recaro type seats with your company name stiched in and also its kitted out inside with a new tv, carpet and table etc ..

Not sure thats right NMF, I have a couple of pals who have had boxes over the years and not one of them has had a say in the decor of the boxes, they are after all rented not owned much like a furnished flat (allthough Im sure Players, Directors etc will be given more flexibility)

I thought the South Stand was a restaurant (Legends Lounge) rather than boxes. The law doesn't allow consumption of alcohol within view of the playing area so I assume that has to be rigorously enforced for the restaurants but isn't for the private boxes, where they are told they can't drink during the game.

I was lucky enough to get on a corporate event last night and we were in the Legends Lounge in the South Stand. The reason the blinds are closed during the game is to dissuade people from sitting in their getting bladdered while watching the match. If you think about it some people (especially non City fans) probably would in which case it would be like being in a box but a lot cheaper. Same thing used to happen at the lounge in the 3rd tier of the Kippax.

My mate's company pay 10K per season for 4 tickets so 2.5K each. I have to say if I could afford it I'd do it every game as the place and food are pure quality, my mate is a RAG (top lad I must add) and he reckons it's 20 times better than the swamp.

Anyway it's back to the East Stand 3rd tier for me next time but had a great night, got a few pictures with Joe Corrigan, Peter Barnes and the legend that is Colin Bell.

PB is correct.

Just like in the ground, you are not allowed by law to drink alcohol whilst watching the match.
