They made a very similar start in euro 2016, they seem to have a habit of starting off slow but growing into the tournamentWas gonna post similar,some talented players in their team but just seem to go on the pitch and just hope to wing it ..
It all depends on whether you believe the defender got a touch on the ball first, irrespective of what happens afterwards,
I thought the replay showed a slight deflection of the ball from the defender into Griezeman's path, the contact with Griezeman couldn't be avoided because he was already sliding on the floor by that stage and the ball was running away from Griezeman, he wouldn't have caught up with it anyway. So no penalty for me.
Some saw that he touched the ball first, whereas others clearly don't see it that way, that seems to be the reason for this difference of opinion.
Lawrenson is a pure genius. "Of course, all France need to do now is keep the ball. No need for them to score another". I wish I was that knowledgeable about the game.
