Come on - credit where due he was the right sub and improved us .
It was the right sub but he didnt improve us..Loftus cheek did though as he is infinitely more comfortable on the ball than the clumsy duo of Alli and Lingaard.
Well deserved that. First half we were very good and should of been comfortably ahead. The ref was a shocker, felt like watching city in the CL. They need to sort their second half performances out, another poor one.

Second half we completely reverted to type. Slow, pedestrian, turgid passing and players abdicating responsibility and passing it square for someone else.
A goal was only going to cone from a corner but we will need a lot more if we are going to progress in the tournament. Only one game gone but the second half looked very familiar like previous tournaments.

Kane might score but he doesn't do nearly enough running or closing down. None of the top teams have passengers like that but if he really must play the full game I think Kane and Vardy might be the best option, Raheem can drop deeper into Lingard's position who is just not good enough. Rashford can be an impact player off the bench when opposition legs tire.
Henderson and Young should not start the next game either.
