Sweden? - they didn't even attempt to beat a ten man Germany with only two defenders on the pitch - as a result Germany will probably go on and win the whole thing when they should have been going out.
Colombia do look dangerous - they have solid defenders and dangerous attackers - difficult to know quite how good they could be - Poland were awful, which is strange when they dominated their qualification group and I think Japan just got lucky with the early penalty and sending off.
This is an intriguing tournament - no one is looking dominant - none of the usual favourites are on 6 points and all the teams that are you can make arguments for why they won't go on and win in it. That means that France, who haven't convinced despite winning two games could emerge; England or Belgium who have had the benefit of playing two weak sides could use that to build momentum, Surely Russia aren't good enough - but playing at home can create all sorts of advantages. Croatia have certainly looked impressive and in Modric and Raktic have players who could take them far. I suspect Germany and Brazil having had a fright will get out of their groups - that may well give both the momentum to go on and challenge, Argentina look awful yet all they have to do is beat Nigeria and they may well manage that - yet their problems are such that its difficult to see them managing to go much further.
And made even more intriguing by the fact that at this point its difficult to even predict who will play who in the Knockout rounds and which route might the most advantageous.
