Just a heads up that there is a separate thread for the England-Belgium game.
28TH JUNE
SENEGAL VS COLOMBIA
Match kicks off at 15:00 (BST) on BBC 1. Coverage starts at 14:30 (BST). Presented by Gary Lineker, analysis from Phil Neville, Didier Drogba and Cesc Fabregas, commentary from Simon Brotherton and Mark Lawrenson.
A game where the winner takes all between arguably the 2 most impressive sides in this group. It is still possible for both of these teams to progress if Poland beat Japan and these 2 play out a draw. Colombia were seriously impressive in their 2nd game vs Poland and they look like the best team in this group at their peak. This is certainly the game to watch in Group H, I expect an end-to-end thriller and the multitude of scenarios for teams to go through makes it even better.
Group H so far:
Senegal’s goal scorers so far:
Niang (1), Mane (1), Wague (1), Own Goal (1).
Colombia’s goal scorers so far:
Quintero (1), Mina (1), Falcao (1), Cuadrado (1).
JAPAN VS POLAND
Match kicks off at 15:00 (BST) on BBC 2. Coverage starts at 14:45 (BST). Presented by Reshmin Chowdhury, commentary by Steve Bower and Danny Murphy.
Probably not the game that everyone will be watching but it could make for a few interesting scenarios. Japan are the surprise package in this group, hugely helped by the red card for Colombia in the first game but they still more than held their own and they battled for the point vs Senegal as well. Poland are out with nothing but pride to play for so hopefully they take a leaf out of South Korea’s book and continue to fight for everything. Japan need a point to guarantee qualification but should they get beat and Senegal-Colombia end a draw then they will go out.
Group H so far:
Japan’s goal scorers so far:
Kagawa (1), Osako (1), Inui (1), Honda (1).
Poland’s goal scorers so far:
Krychowiak (1).
PANAMA VS TUNISIA
Match kicks off at 19:00 (BST) on ITV 4. Coverage starts at 18:15 (BST). Commentary from Joe Speight and Iain Dowie.
Let’s be honest if you aren’t Tunisian or Panamanian then you aren’t watching this game. 2 teams already out, playing for pride of not finishing bottom in the group.
Group G as it stands:
Panama’s goal scorers so far:
Baloy (1).
Tunisia’s goal scorers so far:
Sassi (1), Bronn (1), Khazri (1).
