World Cup 2018 | 30th June | R16: France vs Argentina, KO 15:00 (BST)

4-4-2 doesn’t suit Argentina. 4-2-3-1 with Messi on the right and Dybala as a number 10. 2 or 3 players always take on Messi which would allow his teammates to exploit the space but there hasn’t been anyone in this Argentinian side so far who can actually create something from deeper positions apart from Messi. Bringing in Dybala to the side would mean that when Messi plays more on the right he would attract 2 or 3 players on him which would leave Dybala with more room to roam in a number 10 position. It would make Messi’s job easier as he wouldn’t be the one who has to create everything and also Argentina would be more effective in possession because Dybala would have more time and space to play through balls as 2 or 3 players would try to stop Messi on the right.

Hope the argies get knocked out, come home sergio
I’ve never got this way of thinking. Kun and Otamendi would both be gutted if they came home this early and with their ages will probably never get the opportunity to play at a World Cup again.

2 big games to kick off the knock out stages. Both games could go either way. Uruguay look strong.
