Did Stones start the last match? If not, why not?
Southgate has been quoted this week as saying 'Jones is England's best defender'.
So that only leaves 1 space left and he seems to favour Cahill.
Clueless manager, tactically inept, can't even pick the strongest 11. We'll go out to the first decent team we face at the World Cup.

Chamberlain given Raz' position again... because he was amazing there against Malta? Raz should just retire save himself all the hassle and frustration from the FA's choice of coaches and the status quo of club favouritism they keep along with our delightful pundits and match commentators, to the clueless England supporters who boo him.
Maybe it's better we do fail, I don't see where Southgate is going with this team, we aren't improving... at least we wont go into the world cup with our hopes up, you can't be too shocked/disappointed if everything goes as you thought it would.

Chamberlain's just signed for Liverpool, he's a guaranteed starter from now on.
Genuinely I hope we play so brilliantly that Sterling never has to play for them again.
Me too. Has an England player ever been so villified so young for basically doing nothing wrong? Chamberlain was shite against Malta so why not start razz on the right there? Southgate is yet another gormless yes man.
