World Cup Qualifiers 6/7/8 October (also 2nd batch 9/10/11 October)

Quite an enjoyable game to watch.
Was worried when they went 2 up inside 20 minutes, but battled very well against a superb side, and with the Czech Republic only getting a point bodes well for qualifying for Russia
 
I've just had a discussion with my sister. We both watch England and support them, get in the spirit and when they are in tournaments etc, but when was the last England match we've played really well and thoroughly deserved to win?

England playing teams like Slovenia feels like City in the third tier. Compared to the top teams we were utter fucking shite, but still a scalp for the teams around us. They used to play like it was a cup final and teams like Slovenia sense the same vulnerability and play the same way.
 
I reckon I had a more meaningful impact on that game than Jesse Lingard. Absolute joke that he plays for England, the full 90 minutes as well
