Played the entire game, but looked injured and was not particularly great. Probably should have had a penalty. Ivory Coast were wasteful, but dominated and deserved to win.

Japan were their usual defensive self when it comes to tournament. A bad move can really ruin a player. Kagawa seems to be finished.

Japan were decent defensively in 2010, Nakazawa and Tulio were a good defensive partnership, but both are no longer around, Nakazawa is especially a big miss, and Yoshida has only just come back from injury. Kagawa needs to get out of Old Trafford, I rate him highly, but Ferguson and Moyes have wasted him.

I used to rate Kagawa too, because I watched a lot of Dortmund, but I think he is the latest Sahin. Bad move, not used properly and the talent he had is gone. Balotelli was great yesterday, but he might go the same way if he does not pick his next club wisely. Will be tough for Japan to get out now. Need to get something against Colombia.
