Robinho at 40/1, also had a double of him top scorer and Brazil to win it

I've got a tenner on robbie and argies as an each way.

I've been saying this to anyone that'll listen. 40/1 for Robinho e/w is fantastic value. Point to prove, hat-trick against North Korea and he's half way there. I can only assume the bookies are thinking they won't get out of the 'group of death' or lose to Holland. However, if they get to the semis or final, which is possible considering Brazil's WC pedigree then Robinho has got to be well worth a flutter.

I've seen Suarez at 66/1, but that is very reliant on Uruguay having a surprisingly good tournament.

This. Robbie is going to have a great world cup. Can't wait to see him in our shirt next season. Save us an absolute fortune on players with only half his talent, such as Torres.......

Luis Fabiano @12/1 is a decent punt. 25 goals (36 games) good an international record as anyone. Robinho 20/73 doesn't inspire me for top g/s, but I do think he'll have a good tournament. 40/1 for player of tournament could be worth a dabble..

RVP @14/1 is a reasonable shout. Always think he's likely to pick up an injury though.

For a complete outsider I've backed S.A. main forward Katlego Mphela at 580/1 and 140/1 to finish in the top 4 on betfair. Hopefully he'll get a few goals early on & I can trade out.

He's hit a bit of form in recent friendlies and I think as hosts, with a few friendly decisions, they should make the last 16 at least.
