Surely with athletes getting better and the standard of young players improving, it's only got to be a matter of time.

I don't know about an 8 dart finish, lol but what about a 9 dart finish with a 170 finish? It's mathematically possible but I can't find any reference to one being done anywhere.

I remember MVG doing a 9 darter and finishing T19, Bull, Double Top!

All sorts of records once thought unachievable, so an 8 dart finish is certainly gonna happen when you consider athletes improve all the time

Stats are broken all the time

They once thought human capability could never run under 9.6s for 100m but Usain Bolt did.

Humans evolve and standards change, so I don't get why an 8 dart finish is being dismissed by so many!
