Remember Jocky threatened to twat another player because he kept blowing smoke all over the board when he was retrieving his darts. Can’t remember the player.

I paid £40 to buy his autobiography last year. Fucking loved Jocky.



Remember him missing 9 darter by a whisker. Double 18 IIRC. Then nailed it on the 10th dart.

I used to play for hours imagining various matches between Bristow, Lowe, Lord, Whitcombe, Rees, Evans and somehow, miraculously, Jocky would come out on top.

When I lived in a flat above the Arndale and the IRA blew the windows in on my gaff all the residents were allowed back in 6 weeks later to gather “any absolute essentials”. I walked out with my Winmau board and a pair of clean undies.
