God that brought back memories, that season two of true detective had the most septic dialogue ever written.

The season did get pelters, but I honestly think that’s because Season 1 set the bar so so very high; arguably the greatest series of the modern era for me.
What sticks with me from S2 is some of the photography; incredible. There was a scene I think it was the end of episode one, or two, on a coastal highway in California, as night turned into dawn, and the camera pans away from close up to an aerial shot - just amazing.

Yes he wasn't bad in that, the roll suited him but in his other movies he just seems wooden with no personality.
I recently watched him in a film called The Grey, he wasn't very good but put Edward Norton, Michael Fassbender or DiCaprio in that role it would have been a great film.
