Worst City players you remember

Some of the players mentioned really were worse that dogshite but even so I would never boo or shout abuse at them. A shake of the head and an audible mutter maybe, but never full blown. Apart from one player Nicky f**king Summerbee. That season he was worse than dog shite, in fact infuriatingly so to the point of getting me off me seat to remonstrate with him during a particularly woeful display of which they'd been many. He reacted turned round and told me to fuck off and then ran off like the shitbag he was. I was fuming and unleashed a volley of abuse at him for 5 minutes and he spent the last 15 minutes of the match doing anything he could to come nowhere near where I was sat even though he was supposed to be playing that side. It was the most committed thing he ever did in a blue shirt. I am not proud of myself and have kept the promise I made once I'd calmed down never to do that again. He'd offered nothing all season and got worse as it went on but started pretty much every game. A truly shite footballer for Man City and a stain on his surname. I'm pretty sure he is a rag as well after his weird performance in the derby that year. In brief a TWUNT!

I sat next to him on a flight from Nice to Liverpool around 2000, when he was playing for Sunderland

I chatted to him all the way back about football, City, and his career. I'm sure he mentioned this incident (or one similar)

What I can say about him is that he is a really decent bloke, he is definitely a blue (not a rag) and that he was hurt by the treatment he got off some City fans.. but not as much as Mike and the rest of the family who were heartbroken

Quite a few candidates unfortunately but I couldn't stand Gerry Creaney.

I went to a pre season friendly at Scarborough and City decided to give to locals a goal scoring 'treat' at half time. Alex Stepney was putting some brilliant crosses in for our stars to head or tap in. (No defenders). I think we scored 2 or 3 out of about 20 attempts but Creaneys effort sliced back over Stepneys head and went out of the ground. The ball ended up being kicked around on a grass hill by some City fans who were too tight to pay the 5 bob entrance. The Scarborough fans were so stunned they didn't even jeer. Fond memories?? Nope.

Fair do's. A nice bloke maybe but he contributed less than nothing to our season that year or during the whole time he was at City. Maybe having the shadow of his dad's career at City looming over him had something to do with it but his all round demeanor during that season has nagged me for 20 years every time I thought about. Like I said I regret my actions that day and always will but my opinion will never change and as a well paid footballer for Manchester City FC he'll always be a Twunt for me.

The f**king scouse spice boys also get an honourable mention as both seemed to think they were doing us favour just by being here. One stood around pointing a lot and the other stood around with his hands on his hips a lot. Also Twunts.
