Worst/most hated band ever?

Lots of heated debate about the chilis, smiths, metal, floyd etc. Passionate stuff and will never be resolved either way. But we're all agreed that Simply Red are shit beyond description?

Truly awful. It's music for shit winebars.

I can only imagine anyone ever listening to that shit if I picture a middle management type trying to seduce a lady back at his over priced and tiny 'luxury' penthouse in Ancoats.

Most American 'sports metal' bands to be honest, Limp Bizkit, Green Day, Korn, Killswitch Engage, anything wear they scream.

Slaggy dance music, normally some mediocre blonde tart warbling over generic 'dance' sounds.

And there was me thinking you understood music. To compare KSE and Green Day is like saying Blur sound like Bewitched.

I wasn't comparing them musically just including them in a wider genre I dislike, that being the genre of American bands with very little to say but who masquerade as some kind of social and intellectual prophets.

Generally the only American music I'm a fan of is the New York stuff from the mid to late 1970's such as Patti Smith, New York Dolls, Blondie, Talking Heads, Television and The Ramones etc.

Modern American music leaves me cold, I find it to be bland and to quote one local boy 'It says nothing to me about my life'
