Vuoso never even played. LolNEGOUAI close the thread. Keegan what were you thinking
Not having that. How soon people forget Barry Conlon. I reffed him once for Darlington reserves and looked out of his depth. 1 of the only pro's i could keep up with.I have said this many times previously, but Creaney was and will always be, the worst footballer to don our beloved sky blue shirt! And to think he replaced Paul Walsh in a deal reportedly worth 1.5M and Walshy valued at 1.0M !!
I bumped into Bony in Swansea leisure centre a few years ago, and he was a right miserable twat to me and my lad, even after I told him we were blues. My lad was only 13 but Bony made no effort and was plain rude if I'm honest.Keegan - Mills. Would have been McManaman, but he had the decency to fuck off after two years. Mills spent years bleeding the club dry, while also criticising us on the radio. What a ****.
Pearce - Corradi. More interesting with celebrating other people's goals than scoring himself. Slow, crap, uninterested. Honourable mentions for Dabo, Trabelsi, Samaras & Dickov too. Christ, this was a miserable time.
Sven - Bianchi. Tough one, because he just didn't settle, but wasn't a terrible player by any means. Sven signed a lot of very good players in a short space of time.
Hughes - Bridge. Again, would have been RSC, but he had the decency to be injured for most of his stay. Bridge was crap. Slow. Lost all his talent sitting on Chelsea's bench for years. And again just ran down his contract rather than go have a career somewhere else.
Mancini - Rodwell. At least Sinclair tried. Rodwell spent 3% of the time showing what he was capable of, 27% of the time not doing it, and the rest on the physio's slab. His attitude at Sunderland show's how often he was likely "injred" in that time.
Pellegrini - Mangala. Would have gone for Bony, but once saw him shoot from 3 feet out & the ball went for a throw in, which just sent me in hysterical laughter. Mangala, apart from keeping an on fire Costa in his pocked on his debut, was just crap without the entertainment value.
Pep - Mendy. Take away all of that, you're still left with an injury prone liability that just seemed to be a bit crap at football. Wayward passes. Bad tackling. Panicking under pressure. Yeah.
Getting rid of Hart was a fantastic decision and won my support instantly. Bravo was shit but it was still the right call. Hart could never have played in a Pep team. In one of the first friendlies he cunted the ball out of play aimlessly early on and Pep went absolutely nuts on the touchline. Can only imagine he had spent ages giving Joe instructions only for him to completely ignore it.
He was terrible at claiming crosses and had a massive weakness on his left hand side. Joe Hart was shit and his career trajectory after leaving us vindicated Pep massively.
I'd straight up scrap with anyone who tries to tell me they would have had Hart over Ederson. Oh and he grew up as a red **** and has slagged the club after leaving.
didn't we win a cup with bravo between the sticks !Pep - Bravo
No chance, bosvelt was a very solid player for the 2 years he was at cityPearce - Paul Bosvelt.
