Worst signing by each manager

Hughes should've been fucking shot, for wasting money on that crock.
Agreed. Dreadful decision to sign RSC for City. The funny thing is, Santa Cruz was probably Hughes' all time best signing and all time worst signings during his managerial career. He played an absolute blinder bringing him to Blackburn for 3.5 million but then got a bit giddy and splashed out, signing him for City.

didn't we win a cup with bravo between the sticks !
He was absolute dog sh*t mate. After Pep signed Ederson, it became clear why he wanted a keeper that could use his feet but that wasn't Bravo and I'm pretty sure Pep would agree he made a mistake. He'd have been better off sticking John Stones in net. Every shot seemed to just pass through Bravo.

I have said this many times previously, but Creaney was and will always be, the worst footballer to don our beloved sky blue shirt! And to think he replaced Paul Walsh in a deal reportedly worth 1.5M and Walshy valued at 1.0M !!
Arguably one of the worst signings of all time. Swapped one of our best players + £1m (a decent amount of money at the time) for Gerry Greaney, who we later let go. He looked like a Sunday league player, had the belly of one too. Portsmouth's board did well to keep a straight face while negotiating that deal.

In terms of how bad they were related to cost via fee and wages Mangala is not just the most costly mistake City have made it’s the worst any team has.
What utter tosh

United lost Pogba on a free and paid 89 million to bring him back to win nothing to lose him on a free again.

Been tons of worse signings from other clubs. Iwobi for 40 m for Everton is one recent one that comes to mind.
