Would it be allowed if, say Tevez put the ball on the spot for a penalty and took his walk back for the run up, outside the D. Then another one of our players ran up out of nowhere and scored?
Would the goal stand?

Penalty kick
A penalty kick is awarded for offences taking place in the penalty and goal area. A nominated member of the team awarded the penalty is allowed a strike at goal from the penalty spot (see the image in the ‘field of play’ section), with only the goalkeeper to beat. The goalkeeper must remain on his line until the ball has been kicked, and all other players must be outside the area behind the penalty spot. After he has taken the kick, he cannot strike the ball again without another player touching the ball.

taken from the football rules site.

One player comes forward places ball.

Rules say that is only player allowed in to the box until ball is struck has to be player that placed it.

ah, arsenal tried to do us over and faild because the penalty taker did not make contact and we cleared, taking the piss in other words

Ok fair enough.
Is a player taking a throwing allowed to throw it backwards as you can still take a legal throwing over your head backwards.
