Would you appoint another Premier League manager at City?

At the moment no, although if Martinez can discover some consistency I'd take a risk on his ability to handle star players.

I'd argue many star players got where they are because of their good attitudes. There's obvious exceptions but your likes of Thierry Henry or Lionel Messi are decent guys.

I wonder if Stoke will let us get Mark Hughes back?

Re: Would you appoint another Premier League manager at City

Surely has to be Brenda Rodgers. The best manager in the league according the "experts" depite winning F*** all

Re: Would you appoint another Premier League manager at City

Current Prem:
Roberto Martinez 100% no questions.
Mauricio Pochettino if he does well at Spuds.
Gus Poyet, although he wouldn't be my first choice.
Gary Monk, if Swansea play nice football under him for a few more years.
and if he wasn't such a rag, Steve McClaren.

Ex-Prem:
Carlo Ancelotti.
Michael Laudrup.
Andre Villas-Boas, IMO it was him that won Chelski the Champions league, not di Matteo.
Malkay Mackay.
Sven.

Can agree on Martinez and Ancelotti..... Pochettino is a maybe and Poyet a maybe, maybe.
Sven might have been interesting with the cash.

After that....need to ask some serious questions, especially the 'Welsh' lads. The man who was ruining Swansea, and the man who won't last long with them next season??????? Malkay too has to do a lot more than get a team promoted once.
The ex-rag who has never been a decent club manager?

AV(B)Mourinho?

I would spend our entire transfer budget on Roberto Martinez if it meant he'd come.

Wouldn't mind Mourinho either.

I'd go with moyesy despite being sacked, big Sam's not a bad shout as someone mentioned, OGS will be alright despite being relegated with Cardiff, harry potter ain't a bad shout either despite being relegated with Fulham, ohh and how could I forget the one and only pep Mel who smiles when an opposition team equalises in the last minute, talk about looking on the bright side of life

Magath looks more like Penfold from Danger Mouse, IMO.

How the fuck did I not come up with this

For me it would be Uwe even though he is not in the Premier League!

I would certainly sacrifice previous success at top level (which Martinez hardly has any) for someone who is capable, forward thinking and loves the club.

Better still, he is German so we couldn't fail.

Plus his family hates Old Trafford.
