Would you be against our neighbours playing at The Etihad.

They can go and fuck themselves.
How many times in our history have we helped them out and they still think we're the shit on their shoe.
We should of backed Manchester Central over these cunts, we've let them use our ground when the luftwaffe did improvements on the swamp, we literally gave them the shirts on their backs, hence the term rags.
They hung a banner mocking us, they've been behind numerous attempts to destroy us through Gill and UEFA, they've instigated letters to other Premier league teams with the aim of de railing us.
Fuck them right off, our charity should be aimed at more needy causes, you could imagine the damage the feral rats would cause week in week out, petty vandalism, de facing our statues, anything goes with these scruffy twats.
Let them re build their meccano roof leaking shit hole stand by stand, reduce their income and increase their debt, they are a shit stain to our City and under no circumstances should be help them in the slightest.

Is it “our” ground, or do we still lease it off the council?

If it‘s the latter, I’m not sure we could stop the share and get any money from it.
We can't stop it at the end of the lease, but that is over 200 years away isn't it. We own it until then just like anyone who buys a house on leasehold, it doesn't mean the freeholder can use it.

Sure if it’s the same contract for that of a house.

Or any other business in the world.

United fans got excited as there was Sport England money involved so there was a contract with Sports England that certain for amount of community days City may have had to open up the stadium for in the first few years, but this has long gone. It was never to do with the Council it was grant funding conditions. There was a share on seats sold over 35k to the Council, which city bought out of and pay a flat rate, at the same time naming rights were secured and then SS3 plans could commence.

City are the legal owner on the land registry.

This is true, how very selfish of me not to consider Virgin and Richard Bransons profits during this time lol
I take it back and agree... a mix of lower league grounds from around Greater Manchester to help raise funding of lower league teams and put back into the EFL, what a true gesture that would be hey...
Virgin?
They lost the franchise years ago!
