The only reason for me to go into mcdonalds in Paris was because they sold beer cheaper than anywhere else.

Didn't know that mate, they don't sell it in the UK though, as it's a place for kids in the UK.

There is a very well known fast food chain here in Australia called Hungry Jacks, we prefer their burgers to McDonald's but McDonald's burgers, even though not the best are still nice.

McDonald's here are also quite clever in that they give us old twats a free coffee of your choice if you buy a burger which is very nice of them.
They call it seniors coffee.

I'm with you regarding the food
It's at least ten years since I bought anything to eat from McD's

It's barely a functional caffeine delivery system. Aside from that is't blood awful, and if you've ever ordered an espresso from there it's way off. I've never had 2 shots taste the same, even from the same 'restaurant'.

I like them during the process of eating them and if I’m in the mood for it. The inevitable following course of McStomach afterwards is never enjoyable.

I saw a poster in the window so went in and asked for a large beer. They said thst they couldn’t sell beer unless I ordered food as well so I asked for a small fries and a large beer.
