Would you have Rooney At City? (Tin Hat)

Rooney is one of the worlds greatest players at the moment and if he were to follow Carlos across the abyss to join us I would welcome him with open arms. At the moment though he plays for the Rags and I hope he has suffered an injury last night that will keep him out for 5 weeks, but no longer.

We don't need Rooney to be successful we need midfielders.

No mate ,they are trying to built a team of 11 striker.

We need a creative box to box midfielder, stevie G will

be perfect.

I think anyone who wouldn't want a Rooney of the calibre he's been this season simply cannot have the best interests of City at heart. If he played for anyone other than united I suspect most of those 'no's' would be 'yes's', which makes it even more sad really.

reading a couple of your posts. you talk a lot of sense

Pidge, you are being very kind to the people who said "no".

I blame Taggart for that, the bacon faced, alcohol laced twat. A better manager, for example one at City, would be able to make 2 players of that quality work together. I have no doubt about that.

Agreed. If we had someone else as our main striker (Ade or RSC), and Rooney became available, then yes. Certainly I'd have him at City. But from what I saw of them last season, Rooney and Carlos just didn't seem to be a natural partnership in the way that, say, Joe Royle and Brian Kidd was for us back in the days when dinosaurs roamed the earth.

Too many people put their hatred of united before the good of City, on this thread and subject especially.
