Would you let Tevez play in the final?

I wouldn't start him and he wouldn't be captain when we win it.

-- Wed Apr 20, 2011 3:13 pm --

I wouldn't start him and he wouldn't be captain when we win it.

I am fucking pissed off that Tevez will more than likely be leaving, but if he gives us a better chance of winning it than Balo, then yes.

Not sure if he does tho tbh, will be interested to see how Balo does these next few league games.

I would play the team we put out Saturday. When Tevez doesn't play it seems to encourage others to step up. We played better as team imo and I thought there was a real team spirit with Vinnie leading us. My worry if Tevez plays is we will revert back to the Tevez show with everyone just looking to get the ball to him and with his form taking a slight dip at the moment then is this really the best idea. For me the team will never grow and evolve as long as Tevez is here because everything focuses on him and I think it is a big risk putting all our eggs in one basket for another season with someone who would leave us on a whim, let's be honest if the club had buckled he wouldn't be here now.

If he managed to be fit in time..

..difficult one, I love what hes done for us, but his no show at the Semi-final has annoyed me, I'm sure his appointment wasnt on semi date.
Short memory. Tevez has been excellent for us for 2 seasons. Without his goals against Leicester we might well not even be in this final. Can't believe anybody is even suggesting he shouldn't play.

His no show annoyed me too BUT considering what he's done for us over the last two seasons, I think he deserves to play in the final if he's fit.

He came to us when we weren't in the Champions League (motive irrelevant) and when the players weren't at the standard they are now and gave his all and during all this he's scored 50+ goals in 70+ game which is incredible. Whether you have a downer on him for the transfer request or the no show, you can't say he doesn't deserve to play in the final seeing as he's given his all for two years.

For me, I'd love to see him lifting the FA Cup trophy (if we win it) with it being his last game. Fitting end to a great couple of years with him.

The only reason Tevez didnt play last time, is because he was obviously injured, if he played, who knows it could have been more than 1-0..

On the other hand, he could have hindered our performance in the semi's, so im in 2 minds about him playing!
