Would You Pay Extra For A 2023/2024 Season Ticket That Guaranteed You A Ticket For Concerts, Etc, At The Coop Live Arena?

It's a bizarre question that I can't get my head round. I wouldn't pay extra for discounts or tickets for events at the Etihad because there's zero chance of want to see all that's offered.

It's a building. Bricks and mortar and not yet built, I've got zero affinity to it as anything at all to do with the football club.

What a strange post. I can’t get my head around it.

If it included access to the coop on match days (with topless barmaids on roller skates bringing the finest ales and snacks to your table) count me in : ) ignore the part in brackets if you like

We all know City come up with some great ideas ;-) to squeeze that little bit extra out of City fans. A Platinum Season Ticket being just 1 example of many.(of many)

If City introduced a season ticket add-on for the 2023/24 season costing £50 extra, similar to the platinum season ticket add-on, which guaranteed you a ticket regardless of the concert, artist, group or event at the Coop Live Arena, would you be tempted to opt in on your season ticket?

The Coop Live Arena is planned to open in December 2023.

I would.
Absolutely fucking not.
Might consider a bit extra if it gave me discounts on a hotel room though, living 230 miles away ;o)

£90 to watch people who were in their prime 50 years ago play a basketball arena?

Let me think....

Not at all mate.

Over the last month or two there have been some top artists, groups, and events in Manchester. Manchester is one of the top cities in the World for concerts and events.

Would I go to all the concerts and events on at the Coop Live Arena, no I wouldn’t. But if I was guaranteed a ticket for a concert or event via my season ticket that I wanted to see, I would pay the extra on my season ticket to guarantee a ticket at the Coop Live Arena.

Demand for concert tickets has gone through the roof. Only a few weeks ago there where hundreds of thousands of people in Manchester (city centre) going to concerts at the Etihad, Old Trafford Cricket ground, and the AO Arena over the week/weekend .

Apparently the first artist to perform at the Coop Live Arena will be Harry Styles. I wouldn’t go to that. Being honest.

I would prefer Nobby Stiles!!

I’d easily pay double the amount for a season card if it included away tickets. As for concerts at an arena, I’d think a debenture at the Apollo or the Warehouse would be a better bet.

I think for many a season ticket is a luxury which will carry a few sacrifices… so I’d say no from me but might be a good idea for some.
