would you settle for

As long as we challenge for trophies every season (we don't have to win something every single season though) ill settle for that til my dying day and I wont care who else wins what. If in twenty-five years time we've reached double figures in league titles, FA Cups and won the Champions Lg even once; I'll by extatic and the club will be amongst the very special ones of this country.

United will continue to win trophies, they will also have seasons where they win nowt. It's inevitable. They really aren't a declining club and anyone who believes they are is deluded.

I always look at the bigger picture when it comes to success. It's never about what you do one season at a time.
