Would you sit in Utd end at OT?

Been offered the use of a season ticket for the derby game but only if I can guarantee I don't get found out. Anyone else done this before?

Did it a couple of seasons ago when we lost 4-2, sat in the Stretford end right behind the goal, went with a rag 'friend'. Almost jumped up when we scored the first but he grabbed my leg, sat in silence when they went 2-1 ahead and the twat in front of me sussed me out, when they scored the third he grabbed me and tried to get me 'celebrating' smacked his hands off me and decided to get out of there.

Mates in the pub had done a sweep on what time i'd leave/get thrown out, all surprised i lasted till 70 odd minutes.

Never again, utter fucking shithole and surrounded by more tourists than in Rome.

What a goal ! Soon as he hit it i knew it was in.
Thing is,Bobby Brightwell was never known for deadly long range efforts....what a time to announce your Arie Haan skills!
And the celebration in the away section was absolutely brilliant,chaotic,bedlam...my first trip to utd.
I,d be disappointed with 1 point these days......how times have changed .

With his left foot too, he couldn't normally pass it 5 yds with his left foot ! Yeah amazing scenes when he scored, one of those times when it seems to go on for ages and you're literally breathless when it settles down

Last time was in 91 when Giggs scored the only goal on his full debut, we were sat in the corner next to the Stratford end. Loads of blues dotted about in that corner and at the back of the SE, would’ve been very interesting had we scored. Tickets were sourced from a very well known Middleton blue.

Dumb question here so humor me...

I have only been to a handful of City games in my lifetime, and no away games. What would happen if you sat in the home team section at an away stadium and were found out? Would it only be an issue for big games i.e., United/Liverpool? Just genuinely curious, please educate a poor dumb foreigner

Somebody would have to write an essay to answer that. It depends on lots of things, the opposition, where you sat in their ground, your actions etc. In short there’s no one answer.

Sat in the poor vale end at there ground.
Fucking hell that was an experience

I sat in united end(above stretford end) in mid 70s. Guy next to me shouted out that Mick Doyle was a dirty cnut. Well the young naive me had to correct him - and I received a punch in the face as a result. I was just a kid. He was about 30. My hatred for united was entrenched from that moment
