Would you still support City if....?

Naturally it would always be enjoyable to watch players represent City and potentially Engalnd but once they pull on the Blue shirt nationality is irrelevant.

Rosler,Kinkladze,Goater and Benarbia were all foreign but have probably provided the highlights of my time watching City and I doubt few local lads would match the loyalty Kinkladze showed the club.

That to me is more important than Nationality.
 
As is the general consensus, I will keep supporting City whatever the circumstances. We've lived through dire times which have been worse than becoming the Brazil national side :P

On the one hand, for years I've been mocking rags for not coming from Manchester, and proud of City being my local club with homegrown fans and lots of homegrown players.

But football has changed, and I'm not sure how easy it would be to support a team with absolutely no local or English connection anymore. Because this could happen in a year or so.

How about if these Arabs signed the entire Ushited squad and management team... what then? Would you still be able to go out ands sing Bluemoon. Before you all start having a go I know it aint never gonna happen but it is a real hypothetical question?
 
What if City signed a long string of players you completely despise? For me it would be like playing with 11 Craig Bellamies. At what point does a shirt stop overriding the person who wears it?
 
its not the nationality, race, religion or culture that counts.
its the shirt
and as long as that shirt is city's i will always support them
