No problem with clubs getting a peg up with money its more or less what's happened at every successful club, think the issue here is its British taxpayers money I'd be a bit pissed off if Balls up Burnham was offering Utd my hard earned. This thread is quite amusing. Stefan is outraged on behalf of Stockport County who were gazumped out of a point and hence a multi million pound Championship bonus. It's ethnic discrimination. This thread is quite amusing. People moaning about a club getting a peg up with money.

How much do you think they should have been given? :)
Fixed for you.It ruddy well isn't.
I can't abide Wrexham. And if ever more justification needed that odious grubby creature Herbert of the Fail supports them.
Why weren't ,Cardiff, or Swansea or Newport given the same monies.
Wrexham are the Welsh equivalent of the Dips/ Rags/ Arse. Now pass me that letter headed paper...
Absolute total Yankee tossers imo.
Sadly I love Canadians. Family there, spent a happy summer there in my youth. They aren't as brash as Yanks. I can tell a Canadian immediately by the way they pronounce out/ about, pick up loads on TV programmes, Google the actor and yep, Canadian born.Fixed for you.
Canadian-Yank tossers
Reynolds the Canadian part and McElhenney the "Yankee" half. I'll accept "Yankee" as opposed to "Yank" since he is from Philadelphia. I can't abide most Yankees either. Them and their carpet bagging ways and all.
Considering it's taken away about 70% of their council budget for the area and probably alienated a great number of people in the area not to mention the country, I would've thought that a better strategy would be to let the multi-millionaire owners pay for it themselves allowing the council to spend their budget on other local facilities in need of regeneration. Surely that's the win-win strategy for the council? That sounds like pretty switched-on investment planning from the Council?
Swansea were, the Liberty stadium was funded publicly and owned by Swansea Council. The Welsh Govt put half in to the Cardiff groundIt ruddy well isn't.

Because other fans wouldn't be as noisy if their club got it. So, yeah envy does have something to do with it.Why do people always cry "envy" when inequality rears its ugly head? It aint envy mate!
