WSL 2022/23 Reading H : Apr 30th KO 14:00

I had it on my laptop while watching the other game (and working from home - who says men can't multi task ?), after a dreadful start they played pretty well, but 37 goal attempts and only 4 goals ?

Has a familiar ring to it.

I only saw the first half highlights during the half time break. Looked like we were dominating after their early goal but Roebuck making another error could've cost us dearly. Not really surprising she lost the starting spot in the national team when she does things like that.

Agreed, she didn't have much to do, but there was more than one brain fart, though I thought Ederson had more today.

Should Keating step up and be a bit more confident in her passing game, she'll take the top spot from Roebuck, but as she's not 18 yet, she's lacking the confidence but her reflexes are on par with Roebuck's already.

Much the story of the season. We just needed one or two of those attempts to have gone in and we'd be streets ahead. I don't know but I would think that few teams can match the number of shots/chances we have that aren't converted.

Should have scored a bucket load more. Looks like European qualification will now depend on beating the ragettes in the derby at theirs.

Good news that Steph has been playing well, notched again with a trademark free kick. I think the England girls demonstrably mobbed her as a sign to Wiegman that they want her recalled in Williamsons absence.

Might have to hope Arsenal's failure in the CL semi is devastating enough to make them drop daft points too. They're beset by a multitude of serious injuries, mostly ACLs and Wienreuter looks like she picked one up yesterday as well.

This leagues not dead yet although we look 3rd favourites behind Chelsea and the ragettes currently. It would be somewhat ironic if we miss out on goal difference considering how wasteful we've been.
