WSL 25/26 Discussion - The Other Teams

Well done to the Spudettes for hanging on. We're 3pts clear at the top on equal games played. We also have a +3 better goal difference than Chelsea too. Liverpool, despite earning a point remain rooted to the foot of the table as West Ham won today against Everton. Good result for London City Lionesses who beat Villa away 1-3.

Good result again for us in the North London derby. Arsenal 8 adrift, Ragettes 7 adrift, have both been dropped off this weekend.

Arsenal also using Kelly in her natural best position - bench and on for 5 mins at the end.
We might be close to the stage where if we beat Chelsea at home, we might be able to lose away at Arsenal and maybe even the rags.

Lots of games to play though, but we’re in a great position at the moment.

Have this said before but there are only 22 league games, and with our squad and resources 16 of them should be automatic wins and no excuses. The league then falls on the 6 games H&A vs Chelsea, The Rags and Arsenal - in the 3 games so far vs them we have 6pts already. The trick now is win the games we should and dont drop any stupid points, then ensure the whole thing comes down to those 3 remaining clashes.

Brighton, Villa and Spurs are potential banana skins in one off games, but we’re in a great position.

I think LCL's are a good side, now they've got their act together, we shouldn't take them lightly either.
Given the team we fielded on Saturday - with Clinton, Lohman and Beney on the bench plus Greenwood, Fowler and Kerolin to add as well - we should be beating all of the above mentioned sides with those resources at our disposal.

United whacked again this evening. This time 5-2 in the champions league. Knew their paper thin squad would start to struggle eventually with UWCL football but didnt expect it to happen as early as November.
