It’s not just this season he needs to be judged on he’s coming up to his 5th anniversary of abject failure.

Depends what your expectations were I guess. 3rd biggest budget in the WSL by all accounts. We came close to winning the title last season and that would have been a pretty big overachievement imo.

For me, 2nd and he'll still be in the job. 3rd maybe, 4th he won't. Winning the cup would obviously help.

I suspect without spending a bit more we'll struggle to find a manager that will lift us above them consistently.

Can't remember if it was posted on here or elsewhere, but we're nowhere near their spending on women's football.
