But he lost the league from a nailed on winning position. That home had turned in Arsenal favor , but he did know to counteract it

Shit defending, down to the players even more than Taylor.

I really don't think getting rid fixes everything, but I do think it could be a fresh start and will help some players kick on. Worth doing, I'm not actually sure whoever we get could make anything worse now.

This team is a pale shadow of previous seasons. I’ve stayed behind Taylor the whole time but he can’t be trusted with another season. We are shocking.

Defence seemed to be cut apart any Arsenal attack. It's a really poor squad, if the defence can not cope because we are missing one player, ie Greenwood !

Or seeing the game out at 1-0 means Champions… The Villa game would have then been irrelevant.

Apart from the 2 CB's there's not a player in the team with an ounce of defensive awareness (and sometimes I even wonder about them). We play a risk based possession game but it so often falls apart against the better teams because we just vacate the middle of the pitch far too early. So when we lose possession it is just so easy for the opposition to find a forward pass and if they have runners who can time their movements we don't have the pace to catch them.
