Because he is a footballing genius. How does Taylor keep his job ? anywhere else he would be toast !

Spot on. Taylor has a squad of players capable of winning the league with world class talent in Aleixandri, Hasegaw, Hemp, Greenwood and Shaw backed up with good youth talent like Park. He showed his naivety last season against Arsenal tactically when the league was lost. This obsession with slow build up from the back is generic with all the city teams so maybe he's been a bit brainwashed there, but he's incapable of creating different attacking options like Bombaster does. This Japanese winger is useless and obviously brought in as company for Yui, Fowler too lightweight I'm afraid.Sadly, you may be right. To me the main difference is Bompastor and Taylor. Bombastor might even be a better, more productive manager than Chelsea’s previous. It may be that she was up for grabs at the end of last season. We stayed with Taylor.
Chelsea Women are the equivalent of our Mens team
And good managers. They lose a proven winner and go out and get another proven winner in the women's game. They have managed the transition well. They are the team that others are going to have to beat in order to win the league.
Years of growth and investment in good players at the root of the team, and everybody else is trying to keep up with them.
He was (until tonight at least). I went to cook dinner at 2-0, so no idea what happened after that.Because he is a footballing genius.
Agreed. We played pretty well until they scored. They then relaxed and we couldn’t cope physically for a few minutes. He was (until tonight at least). I went to cook dinner at 2-0, so no idea what happened after that.
I thought we played OK, and as usual didn't take the chances created for us. We started the second very well, and were looking the better (and stronger) team for quite a while, then we didn't take a couple of chances, and fell apart after the goal.
I watched first half and thought I was watching the current iteration of our blokes team.Sound familiar?
"Chelsea had just 36% possession, but nearly double the number of shots and touches in the opposition box compared to Manchester City."
