WSL Chelsea (H) 08/10/23:

No more hot 'n cold drinks for free unless yer an ST - and then you only get one pre-match. Apparently it's to save on waste? The fuckers never have any Bovril anyway! Wonder how long before they charge for the free parking on Blue Car Park?

Didn't know that, it's a bit disappointing, might end up having a small impact on attracting crowds.

Just hope drink prices are kept reasonable.

Is ouahabi out for three games? Or has it been appealed and changed? Even the red was a bit too much in my opinion

There was a noticeable shift through the season from lots of players at the start doing the "autograph lap" to hardly any / none towards the end.

Now there's an "autograph alley" after the game for a selected number of fans picked at random, after feedback and guidance from the FA and security advisors.

I know it was inevitable as crowds grew, but it was quite a big pull, especially to my kids for the chance of filling their autograph books etc.

A shame really, (along with the change in free drinks perks) but I suppose it can't be helped.

Yeah that sounds crap. It did feel like it was dwindling a little, but my kids were more interested in getting the autographs and photos than they were in the matches a few years back. It really does make a big difference.

It doesn't feel like crowds have grown that much that this is something that's needed.

Have taken the plunge this year and bought a season ticket rather than attend as and when, I ended up attending most anyway.
We could do with winning this game today, winning all our home matches really, odd to think like that when it is only the second match of the season.
Yes disappointing about the drinks but suppose they are trying to make some money now they have brought people in.

Have previously felt like our forwards and midfielders function as two separate units, but Roord will help join them and get goals from midfield. A bit more concerned about the back 4 now. If we had a settled back 4 I'd fancy our chances today - we could still do it but it'll obviously be tough. Chelsea didn't look good v Spurs though.
