Doku scored the vital 2nd goal and was a constant attacking threat and yet gets just 11% of the vote. I am surprised at that given that for me it was quite a close 3-way call between Foden, Reijnders and Doku.

Thought Raindeer, Ake, and Foden all did well. But went with Doku because as well as skinning the fullback he looked like he now wants in on the goals at the back post.

I just thought it was like a traditional pre-season friendly. They all went through the motions but did the business. You can't make any judgements on this performance.

Perhaps. But Reijnders looked like class to me. A different level to everyone else on the pitch. Let’s wait and see.

Even though he misplaced several passes, Rodri was the best player on the pitch after he came on. Should have had an assist.

Doku did better than some give him credit for. If he was a new signing, he would have been voted MOTM.
