Mini Ledge wants CoD but he's 8... he'll be getting FIFA and Minecraft for starters and Tellytubbies to piss him off!

Liking the idea of a Kindle for Mrs Ledge but I think we're planning on giving that to my step-daughter. Can you give the same gift to two people?

Yes you can give the same gift and its a wonderful present. And I know some people are funny over giving games like cod to young uns but my opinions is to let boys be boys. Obviously I wouldn't get him something that's overly gory or scary like doom/resident evil.

Maybe you could keep cod for yourself lol

Reading this thread with interest as I'm also biting the bullet and getting my lad a Xbox. My question is how do I go online if the only Internet connection I have is through a broadband dongle in my laptop.

Looks like I've made myself to look like a right miserable fecker. I'll offer the Wee Man a compromise, if he cleans my car once a week, cuts the grass and does the dishes I'll give him an extra ten minutes. Can't say fairer than that!

250 GB currently 159.99 at argos, couple left for store reserve in bury, 1 in manchester arndale, probably wont be there long.

Argos are selling the kindle fire for £99 tommorow. Spend £1 and you get a £10 Argos card. If you buy the Xbox aswell in two separate transactions you'll get 2x £10 vouchers

After wayne71 bumping this thread last night I had a look online and realised that the XBox 360 is like gold dust at the moment - the console itself was out of stock at every online retailer I checked. Realised I'd better move quick and bought the following from Amazon earlier:-

XBox 360 250Gb bundle with Forza 4 and some other game.
XBox Live Gold
FIFA 2013 (£20 off deal when bought with console)
Extra Controller

Step-daughter will be getting the Kindle Fire although I'm thinking of the HD version for Mrs Ledge now.
