He’s younger than McAtee and has been averaging just under a goal a game in the German league this season so far, from attacking midfield. And that’s for a team that aren’t as good as us. He’d be a great addition.

I haven’t seen much of him but what I have has been average. I didn’t think he was involved much in the Euros though he did score a brilliant goal.

In fairness as you say he’s very young and has plenty of time to improve.

I think he is a good player.

But also, if given the same minutes and chances, I dont see him that different from McAtee.

I just dont see a point in these "good players" for attacking spots, we have atleast that level already and academy players who are very likely to get there like Mukasa.

We need "exceptional" players if we want someone to be a KdB level starter.

Maybe Simons can be that, but he doesnt look all that special when I see him play.

Otherwise, Id just play Bobb, McAtee, and even Echeverri more.

Mukasa is a great example we should be integrating him next season.

Only really content with McAtee leaving if part of a Wirtz deal as he’s a player that is that higher level as you say.

I don’t mind Simons as a player as young and can develop even more. But we have a lot of homegrown talent that shouldn’t get over looked.
 
I must have watched a different player. I honestly don't get the hype with this lad, and barring one good season in the Dutch league, his stats hardly blow your socks off.
 
If he had a fancy foreign name like Xavi then everyone would be excit..oh wait.

9 goals and 7 assists in 24 games this season. Fairly decent id say. One less goal than Wirtz in 6 less games.
 
Cherki has a much higher ceiling it’s not even funny . We are avoiding him for stuff that happened years ago
