Simons can play on the left and midfield. Played more on the left I think last season at Leipzig put up good numbers. His positional flexibility might be why we are interested if we are.

He's definitely more of a winger than Foden, Cherki, Echeverri, even Marmoush. He's quite similar to Bobb in that his best position is probably 10 but he doesn't look out of place out wide.

I think the plan is to launch 1 of the full backs forward like Ait-Nouri, so something who can play left but sit in the 10 like Simons makes sense.
