Dont listen to the ps3 crowd, I have both and for playing games the 360 is just as good, for online play its much better.
I'd definitely look at playing online though as personally I'd feel a bit ripped off forking out £30+ for a game which is completed in a few hours, you really get your monies worth playing online.
