Xbox 360 Warranty

Looking to buy an xbox 360 on ebay. Found a good priced one that also includes a warranty. Now I may be wrong but I thought details were included in this? He has written in his item description that it won't be a problem when ownership is changed but wondered if anyone had a clearer idea of this as don't want to buy it and find that the warranty will be void?

I dont know Rich but my advice is get a ps3, way superior and no defect problems (I have both btw)
 
are you saying that his name will be on the warranty?

i got an xbox from my mate, who got it from his mate and it broke, i got a fully new one sent out to me, i just pretended to be my mate all they asked me was what town i lived in, thats it, nothing major.

but the only reason they did that was because the original buyer had registered for xbox live and so they had his details, without that then the only thing that registers the warranty is the serial number on the back.

ask him if hes ever registered with xbox and if so get some basic details about him.

ive had 2 xboxes replaced and both times its been very relaxed and easy to get it done.

Mate dont buy a second hand Xbox 360. Most likely you will be buying an old model to which they are known to die on there arse a fault know as the red ring of death!
An element within the system causing it to over heat melt some solder and fuck up the machine, this can be fixed nowadays by microsoft free of charge, they used to charge £80 the cunts until the problem was wide spread and they got so many back its now free!

But you dont want to go through this fucking night mare make sure if you do buy second hand the machine is from june 08 onwards the only way to tell is to ask the twat who's selling the fucking thing to give you the machines id number found on the back if it ends with a 08 its good to go if its a lower number tell the punk woman to go fuck himself!
 
I got my xbox December last year and I got the ring of death today. I thought it took like a year to get it! Unless my brother has swapped them!
