Terrible

There were 2 duck legs plus a tiny lump about the size of a ping ping ball. The meat was old and tough. Didn't even taste like duck. Skin would not crisp even after 25 minutes on 220c oven plus 5 minutes

Going out for the first time for Xmas dinner. Local curry house. Pub first. Just me thr mrs and father in law - can’t wait

I thought you just ate chocolate on Xmas Day, Kaz?

Have always had that momentarily sad festive thought.

Sat on the sofa on your lonesome, surrounded by your ten cats, eating your bodyweight in Fry's Peppermint Creme and Fudge bars, Last Christmas playing in the background, tins of Whiskers half empty...

Watching Bugsy Malone and Grease ;)
How wonderfully evocative. With practice you could earn a living from this wordsmithing mallarkey.

With the cost of living crisis, i've told the wife i'll sort Christmas dinner this year. Not sure she is going to be to happy though!
