Xmas dinner

I booked a Christmas Day meal in a pub in The Lake District last year. It was £300 for two adults and three children. When the missus found out how much it was going to cost me she told me to cancel it and she’d knock something up instead.

We went to the same pub on Christmas Eve instead and had a Christmas Dinner. It came to just over a ton including drinks, which the £300 wouldn’t have done. I’d like to think the difference went to the staff for working Christmas Day but I somehow doubt much of it would. Wasn’t even a particularly posh pub.
