wasn't there riots after the phils won the series?
Is south street the street with all the bars? I love that street
South Street is A street with a bunch of bars... :)
Main Street has a bunch too...same with the Olde City section.
Philadelphia sports fans are hands down about as close as you can get to the feeling of being around passionate City fans. I'm biased considering I've lived in Philly all my life, but it's true. A major reason I started following City was due to the fan base parallels...
and whoever compared the boston red sox to City just made me throw up a bit in my mouth. I'd say the Yankees and Red Sox fanbase are both tied in being the most United like. However, I will admit the Boston fans do travel well and definitely make the trip to Philly whenever we play each other. I'm also positive these are actual fans and not tourists due to the unmistakable Boston accent.. which when listening to is sort of like someone taking a shit in your ear.
On that note. Anyone visiting Philadelphia please feel free to message me and we'll hit the pub at 8am or 10 am to catch a game. I'm tired of being the only support for City in the city of brotherly love.
On another note. Boston blues don't get mad, I'm half joking about the accent... Everyone knows that the Philly dialect sounds just as awful.
