Yaya-Keep or Sell?

So with Yaya, Pogba, Kroos and Gundogan what hope is there for Fernando and Fernandinho. Delph is probably needed for homegrown but we seem to be linked to an awful lot of centre midfielders but few full backs or forwards. Plus some of our better youth prospects are midfielders.

Playing 3-6-1 next season?

Hart
Kompany
Stones
Laporte
Pogba
Gundogan
Kroos
Yaya
De Bruyne
Sterling
Aguero

if he is willing accept the kind of role Xavi had at Barca last season, then why not keep him for another year, if not, then id sell him

Depends if China come knocking with big bucks...
His talent is unquestionable. However his work rate, attitude and defensive duties are not. He only seems to provide those brilliant "Yaya" moments on rare occasions now. Plus, his agent can't shut his trap so for me I would sell.

Xavi was Barca through and through though and undeniably a great character to have around. Yaya is a sulker, with a loud mouth agent with very little regard for the club. He's shown time and time again that he doesn't mind causing disruption or calling out the club for personal gain. If he was to stay around then my first demand would be that he either gets rid of his agent or puts a muzzle on him. If he's going to be a back up player then he needs to put the team before himself and be a good influence

Keep him, we need a squad that can be interchangeable, this year we have a squad that is far to big with the same type of players, and we do not use youth. Personally with pep coming in I thing we need to bring in 2 younger fullbacks a centre half and two box to box midfielders and another forward. We can rid ourselves of 2 of th fullbacks we have maybe two central halves as denever will be back. 2 midfielrs can also go and a forward. Yaya would be an asset with correct set up.

Seems to have a massive ego so really can't see him not throwing a fit if he isn't in the first xi so I'd be pretty reluctant to carry on with him.

As a player, keep. As an influence in the dressing room, move on.

Cant see him accepting a squad role for long and he'll get his gobshite agent to try and undermine pep/the club through the press.

One of the great abilities in football club management is knowing when to move a player on. Look at what happened to Edin - it was clear to those who watch him he was in decline and therefore the decision to get rid was a good one - a fact confirmed by his struggles at Roma in a less intense league. My worry is City seem to have double standards on this and in recent times have placated Yaya and a couple of others. He has been magnificent for us over the length of his time at the Etihad but for me at age 33 with his particular body type it is time to say goodbye. I suspect there would be no positive to the club confirming this now - shame they couldn't have thought the same when allowing Pellegrini to have his moment in the sun with his own announcement!

Let him go. If he does not want to go, give him every encouragement.

He has been a revelation & inspiration at times for us. Those times are mainly in the past. We move on.

I like Yaya but he has declined a bit in his athleticism. As to whether to keep or sell it depends on what the new manager thinks.
I can see why people get fed up with the pronouncements of his agent but how people determine that he is a bad influence in the dressing room I don't know, on the pitch the other players appear to respect him and he appears to get on with them. I know appearances can be deceptive but I have seen no evidence of him being a bad influence.

Maybe pogba and yaya can be double trouble in certain games? Against lower league teams them pair would be frightening ! He has been a twat at times but yaya has been the catalyst to our trophies since the takeover and provided moments I'll never forget!

If he played the role Lampard did for us, why not! He would be a great ambassador for the club after he finishes and could help to attract talent

I appreciate all he's done but I wouldn't want him to be an ambassador for the club. He's scored important goals, but let's be honest, he has an tendency to bitch and sometimes hardly breaks a sweat in games.

Still pissed off about the weekend. I'd sell all the cunts for a pint and a bag of chips at the moment tbh :-(
