Yaya-Keep or Sell?

Check out @City_Watch's Tweet:

Giving away our players - and one of the best ever for city - for free

That serves us right for wanting rid of him 2 seasons too late. Free would still be excellent given what we owe him in wages anyhow.

if Inter want him, just pay.
if not, let Yaya stay until the end of his contract.
please not let him go easily. he still have role in the team.
but of course not in midfield 2, but maybe on midfield diamond formation.
i knew he's defensive liability, but it amazes me on how Pep turn him as CB in his final years at Barca.
hope Pep can rejuvenate him for one last time, until his contract expired next year.

it's not just Yaya, almost majority of City has been under performed this season.
they look unmotivated and disinterested, especially in league games.
blame on Pellegrini for this.

What about the coaching staff also?
Oh sorry, forgot kidd is staying at the club isn't he..Jeez!!

I am amazed this is even a debate after another poor season. Just not worth the wages or the time and effort. Complete lack of effort and really does seem to struggle to get around the pitch let alone make a tackle/interception. I'd be very surprised if Pep found use for him as just doesn't have that level of energy and intensity in his play. I am also sick of comments by a person he chose to represent him. Good player up until about two seasons ago - now - everything that is wrong with our midfield.

I'm almost sure Yaya bowed out after he won the ACON, his personal set was complete.
Apart from winning the world cup, he'd pretty much won all of the domestic trophies within the leagues he's played.
A City legend, thanks Yaya but time has caught up with you now.
All the best for the future.

For me he simply has to go. Forgetting the nonsense of what has been spouted by his agent or indeed, Yaya, Pep is building a team for the future and Yaya hasn't much left in the tank now, let alone to be part of a team which may take a season or two to fully mature

Oh, I think they would. He draws a hefty salary each week and turning off that tap is worth it
Why is anyone still thinking that we are going to get a significant fee for a player who has had two pretty terrible seasons, is 33 but seems to have the athleticism of a 43 year old and is on enormous wages? If we don't have to cover a penny of those wages over the next 12 months then I think that would be a decent outcome because I honestly don't think it is beyond the realms of possibility that we will get rid and still be paying a percentage of his wage.

Funny how two years ago I almost went mad worrying about him and his agent (well not quite but you get the point).

Not the slightest bit worried now.

Vamos Pep!

Yaya has no intentions to play here next season and City has no intentions to keep him. IMO
