Yaya Toure apologises

Now we sound like a big club again, pep is almost perfect he will of seen this coming anyway, puts down a marker when least expected and now that talentless agent makes his reply and pep takes control of the agenda,

Yayas city career is over, him and nasri dictated our tempo over the last 2 seasons, boring as fuck and stale,no going back now,the pace we play and the entertainment is the best I've ever seen in the premier league ,not getting to carried away but our future already looks solid and our squad looks more youthful and energised, so much to look forward too..

Bottom line is that if Pellegrini was still here none of this would have played out this way. But I still don't believe Pellegrini would have had the balls to do this to Yaya even if he had had the balls to drop him from the CL squad (which he wouldn't have). Make no mistake, if Pellegrini was still here, Yaya would still be calling the shots, your "factual" statement that any manager would do this is utter bollocks.
Sure, if you choose to incorrectly construe it to suit your conclusions. Yeah. The point is simple: Fringe players are expendable. Missing in your analysis is the fact that had Yaya continued to be a key player (i.e. had Pelegrini as you claimed kept Yaya a 'key' player) this outburst would not have occurred in the first place.

The notion that Pelegrini doesn't have balls is laughable. He benched Joe Hart. Benched Yaya Toure. Started Willy in a cup finals against all opposition. Chucked Jovetic from his CL squad. All actions similar to what Pep is doing now and being lauded for showing balls. Just say you don't like Pelegrini and disagreed with his decisions and the outcomes of those decisions. But to suggest he lacks balls is purely turning reality on its head.

For what it's worth, that's not forging new ground on bluemoon. It's frankly the order of the day.

I was wondering why SSN were holding back the Pep presser, it's obvious they were searching for Seluk.

I guess Yaya doesn't want to play again cos if he did he would be straight on the phone to tell his **** of an agent to shut his mouth.

Does this thick twat agent not understand what Pep has said? Does he need a fucking picture drawing for him?.....It's fine that he can say what he wants and doesn't need to apologise....but until he does then his client won't be anywhere near a football pitch in a city shirt.

Seluk forgets this
Pellegrini (Feb 5): "It's important for everyone to know that I knew what was happening and that no one was doing anything behind my back."

Next step will be Yaya training on his own. Seluk can't keep him mouth shut and will do more damage. Sad that it has come to this but Pep's actions are necessary I'm afraid. Tbh, this is what should have happened the first time his Agent spoke out and disrespected the club that pay his bosses wages.

Impressive or not, I really don't think you can compare the Yaya and Schweinsteiger situations. I think most of us agree that Pep has issued a statement that has been long overdue. Perhaps any (previous) manager should have taken the same decision as Pep regarding Yaya and his prick of an agent, but history clearly tells us that they didn't.
When he mattered, someone could have, or frankly he should have been sold the year after the 20 goal ouburst. I argued it back then that that wa his swangsong. A meeting of talent and experience. It was going to be down hill from there.

Anyway my point was simply its a win win for all involved.
