Re: Yaya Toure

One of the most worrying things is that i can't see Yaya just getting rid of Seluk, he named one of his kids after him so he must be pretty loyal to him.

Fuck him! What's he said?
Said he want's to play for a big club again who will remember his birthday's and respect him alot more;-)
If he goes to the rags they'll buy him a big old tart for his birthday (allegedly).
Rooney would be jealous, and demand a pay rise and an even bigger tart...

The bottom line is this issue should never have raised its head. We are champions, we pay our players well and give them an opportunity to win the games biggest medals. What's not to like as a footballer?

This player is a ****. End of.

TRUE but agents will be agents . ill always be eternally grateful to YAYA .

Fans can turn on him all they like im just hoping we will still see him in sky blue next season ill never say a bad word against the big man !

We all want him to wear our shirt, not just next season but for the rest of his career, you know like he asked during his last strop.
Yes we are grateful to what he's achieved with us but it cuts both ways , he's not done bad out of it.

Whether he stays or goes doesn't change the fact he's a ****.

My thoughts exactly.

He's no better than Tevez - A **** is a ****.

Hopefully we can have a few weeks rest from this caper.

I bloody hope so Rammy, it's starting to do my head in. Whilst Yaya has been a bit of a dick, and his agent a complete wanker, he is a far better man and player than Suarez, who said a lot worse about liverpool and was vehement about leaving, and look what value they got out of the fucker this season by letting the club and the player sort things out. I would assume the club take stuff like this with a very large pinch of salt and will have had a word with Yaya in the background, and will move on, whereas BlueMoon explodes in a sense of righteous indignation. Time to move on I think, let it blow over, and let the club do what it thinks is right (which hopefully is to remind Yaya, quietly and in private, of his responsibilities)
It's just the hard work Txiki and Pellegrini have put into the holism and putting an end to the negative stories coming out from within this past year...then this happens.

If this was three years ago, or even this time last year, I don't think I'd be as pissed off but we've been all about harmony and all being in it together as one this season. This doesn't fit into that ethos at all.

That's my problem with it, not that he wants a better deal, just that he's undone a great deal of hard work put in away from the pitch to change the image of this club. It's been one step forward and two steps back in that respect, especially with the timing of it and the way he's said "wait until after the World Cup" which will certainly make it drag on and on for weeks.

My guess is Khaldoon will be seething at this debacle. After all that hard work and City's most successful season who could blame him?
